Automotive industry
The automotive industry is an important industry in many industrialized countries. It sometimes takes a strategic view of both its historical proximity with military industries, the importance it can take in the gross domestic product and employment in some countries (United States, France, Great Britain, Germany) and the image that the car can give a country from the outside (the Italian design, the American way of life, the mechanics German, Japanese zero defects, the French innovation, etc.).
The automobile industry is now organized into large groups of final assemblers using parts from a large number of suppliers and subcontractors, but generally maintain in-house industrial heavier as sheet metal or the production of the motors.
