The Low-Cost Car
The evolution of the market and the increase in oil prices lead to the development of low-cost cars saying (English term meaning "low cost") as well as Logan Dacia vehicles simple, low power consumption and less pollution. Moreover, the Logan knows a great success, with sales being worth around 700,000 models in late October 2007. This success led other manufacturers to make their own models at low prices, or even very cheap as the Tata Nano (€ 1,500 in India) launched in 2009.
Of course, low cost car with great success in the country "taking off" - Romania, Iran, Turkey, and Morocco - but they are also sold in richer countries such as France.
These trends, coupled with the cost of their retirees, help to explain the strong decline of U.S. manufacturers, like General Motors that the products offered will be inappropriate to changing demands even in its market national.
